Heritage and traditional building projects

Working alongside Igloo Interiors are conservation accredited architects Arctic Associates. We often work together on projects providing a great resource for clients. Heritage buildings are refurbished for better use, feasibility studies undertaken, new buildings designed and project managed.

Arctic has excellent success regarding Planning and Building Regulation Approvals, and is registered with The Local Authority Building Control Partner Authority Scheme (LABC), ensuring swifter action for design and construction work in different locations and across numerous councils.

RIBA qualified Architects within Arctic team are skilled conservation architects and AABC registered (Architect Accredited in Building Conservation). Thus ensuring expertise in design work for historical buildings and those aided with grant funding. Regeneration of the urban and rural environment is a key goal for the practice.

Staff are members of IHBC with the Director, Russell Trudgen MArch RIBA AABC being president of EASA (Ecclesiastical Architects and Surveyors Association) from 2016-2017 and is still actively involved as honorary membership secretary

Many new building projects are designed and constructed from residential properties, to large warehouse churches.
